Fundraising Coordinator
Attends Rainbow Playschool Committee meetings as required or requested by the committee
• Is responsible for distributing and collecting all correspondence and forms related to fundraising
• Ensures all money paid to the playschool for fundraising is collected and given to the Treasurer
• Is responsible for and can delegate tasks to volunteers for ordering, pickup and disbursement of products for all fundraisers
• Maintains an up to date record of funds raised by each family
• Ensures that an update of funds raised is sent out to each participating family, and the Treasurer, at the completion of every fundraiser
• Research and discover new fundraising opportunities
• Orients the new Fundraising Coordinator
Playdough
• Makes playdough monthly following recipe and colour guidelines from the Teacher
• Ensures that playdough is brought to the school on or before the last day of each month
Laundry
• Takes home, launders and returns any items used by the playschool as needed
• Launders costumes, puppets, and stuffed toys, as needed, following guidelines from the Teacher
Small Toy Cleaner
• Takes home, cleans, and returns small toys, as needed, following guidelines from the Teacher
Large Toy Cleaner
• Cleans classroom furniture and large toys that cannot be brought to a home, on a monthly basis, following guidelines from the Teacher
Special Events
• Purchases supplies and prepares snacks for Halloween, Christmas, Valentines, Easter, and year end activities (for both classes if there are two) following guidelines from the Teacher
• Ensures all snacks are at the school on or before the activity date
• Ensures that all snacks comply with the school’s nut-free policy and any other allergies as indicated by the teacher in a given year
• Ensures purchases remain within budget allotted by the Teacher and/or Treasurer
• Coordinates with the Teacher and others taking on this role to determine how responsibilities will be allocated
• Ensures receipts for all purchases are given to the Treasurer for reimbursement in a timely manner
Arts & Crafts Prep
• Prepares day to day craft and learning activities with supplies provided by the playschool, following guidelines from the Teacher
COVID-19 Coordinator
• Works with the Teacher and Committee to ensure that all relevant government COVID-19 guidances are being strictly implemented and followed
