Rainbow Playschool Duty Parent
Rainbow Playschool is a parent cooperative and, as such, parents to take turns as Duty Parents at the playschool to fulfill licencing requirements. The number of duty days required by each family is dependent on playschool enrollment and is set at the start of each year (on average once a month).
Your presence on your appointed duty days is critical to the operation of the playschool. All parents must attend their duty days or provide a substitute, preferably by trading days with another parent. Duty rosters are circulated to parents via e-mail and copies are also kept posted at the school. Any changes should be noted on the school roster so that the teacher is aware of who will be on duty on any given day
Parents who are unable to participate or wish to opt out of parent duty days may inquire about paying the full $500 at the beginning of the school year.
Parents with more than one child registered in the same school year are required to participate in one set of duty days for each child registered.
